IPL 2025: Kishore Downplays On-Field Altercation with Pandya During GT vs MI Match

Sai Kishore vs Hardik Pandya IPL 2025 altercation

On March 29, the Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated the Mumbai Indians (MI) for their first win in the 18th season of IPL. The match was memorable not only for the serious clash between the two teams but also for the unpleasant incident between GT spinner Sai Kishore and MI captain Hardik Pandya. It was caught on video and widely discussed by fans on social networks.

What Happened?

During the 15th over of MI’s innings, Kishore threw a dot ball to Pandya, who blocked it. GT’s spinner then glared at his opponent, and Hardik got angry. He cursed at Sai, showing him his displeasure. The players stared at each other for a while and then returned to the game.

Incident Exhausted

After the match, however, the players proved to be professional. Kishore told commentator Ian Bishop that whatever happens on the pitch stays on the pitch. He said he was good friends with Pandya and did not take his words seriously because they were said in the heat of battle. Cricket is a highly competitive sport, and such incidents can happen on the field. The important thing is that off the field, the players have a great relationship.

Pandya also did not start developing a conflict. After the game, he shook hands with Kishore and had a warm chat with him. By doing so, the players showed that any disagreements on the field can be resolved and left behind.
